A adapter for ER32 10mm and 1/2 inch collet chucks. This adapter allows for the use of hexagonal shank tools to be easily used with collet chucks. The use case for us was to use the cheap and obundant hexagonal shank drill bits that are used on impact drivers on the CNC machine. As previously the shank did not fit the 6mm collet chuck due to the shank being 6.35mm, and required sanding down the hexagonal shank into a smaller diameter while also trying to keep the drill bit concentric to the shank. As this was difficult to do in terms of keeping the drill bit concentric an adapter would solve both problems. The adapter is 3D printed in PLA and works perfectly inside the collet chucks.
